Micah is currently in the maintenance phase of his treatment. He should finish up treatment in June 2015. Micah had issues with the standard protocol chemotherapy so he is doing a protocol that has been used in Brazil. So far his body is tolerating this well. He struggles with nausea and feeling flu-like at times but that only lasts about a 7 days out of the month. Micah's passion is to play baseball and the drs released him to play this year, even on his bad week he still manages to make it to his games. He hasn't been able to play the last 2 years so of course we have a lot of practice before we are back to where he left off at!! Go to our website and get el torero. Hurry up to go and start winning.

Micah was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on January 9, 2012. He has had a rough road due to side effects of chemotherapy. In May 2012 we were told he was in liver and kidney failure. He has recovered from both the liver and kidney issues and just has some deficiency now. We are now in the last phase of chemotherapy, called maintenance, which will last for 2 1/2 years. The doctors are still trying to get the appropriate doses of chemotherapy figured out for him, but overall he is doing great. We are so excited to be apart of the Kenna's Kids family and look forward to meeting everyone!
